Hello, my name is Diana, I am British native speaker based in the UK. I am also bilingual and fluent in Spanish. I love to travel, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. In my spare time I enjoy reading, yoga and fitness and walks in nature. I am Cambridge certified and have a TEFL Certificate in Teaching Young Learners. I also have a First Class degree in Social Sciences. I first found my passion for teaching in Peru in 2008 where I taught young learners and university students. Over the years, I have gained experience teaching children from the age of 5 to teenagers and adults both face to face and online. I have taught classes from absolute beginners to advanced levels including everyday conversational English and pronunciation to preparing for exams. Whatever we do I like to ensure that all my classes are interesting and have a communicative focus so that not only will you improve your English but you will feel confident communicating with others. When teaching children, I like to teach high energy classes and always use props such as flashcards, toys, songs, and stories. With teenagers and adults, I like to use authentic materials, interesting topics, images, videos, songs and reading texts. I am a kind and friendly person always looking to create a positive learning environment. My number one priority is to meet your needs so book a trial now and we can talk about how I can help you achieve your goals. Hope to see you soon!

Hello My name is Lucy and I am from the UK. I have a wide range of interests including history, science, geopolitics, anthropology, technology and current affairs. On top of being a language teacher, I have also worked in a corporate environment and run my own business. I am a professional photographer, artist, cartoonist and musician. I've travelled extensively and have a passion for other cultures. My hobbies include making comic books, pottery, fillipino martial arts, singing, drumming and frisbee. I am a certified CELTA qualified tutor with a bachelors degree in journalism. I have over 5 years experience teaching full time in a language school in the UK and a further 10 years as a part time private tutor. I have taught all levels, from beginner to advanced, in both general and business English. I have guided students through tough exam classes like IELTS, Cambridge B2 Upper Intermediate (FCE) and C1 Advanced (CAE). I have also helped run teacher-training courses and presented at national TESL conferences. I fully believe in kindness and patience in the classroom, and never give up on a student. I am not here to judge but to help; I understand that making mistakes is a vital part of every learning journey. Every student has a unique learning style and I try to adapt to the way that best works for them. I have been trained in a wide range of teaching techniques and ways to keep a student engaged and motivated. During the trial lesson we will get to know each other and then look at your current level and discuss your learning goals. We will look at the courses available and choose the perfect one for your needs. We will go through a sample lesson and I will help you with all your questions. I will give you feedback on the areas in which you need improvement, and those in which you are strong. We will organise your long term plan and how you will achieve it. During the trial class you will practise fluency, reading, listening and writing. You'll be given help and feedback on all of these, along with your accuracy and pronunciation.

Hi! I'm Sarah-Jane, a qualified, International School Teacher and Social Worker from London, England. I received my teaching degree in 2005 and my CELTA qualification in 2012. I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology, a Masters degree in Social Work, and a Masters in Special and Inclusive Education. Teaching is my passion; it's what I enjoy doing both in and out of the classroom. When I am not teaching, I love listening to music, watching sports -baseball, basketball, American football, athletics and tennis, riding my bike, travelling to different countries to experience the culture, reading Manga and watching anime. I have been teaching for almost two decades and am both PGCE (QTS) and CELTA qualified. I have spent the last three years living and working in China as a Head of Inclusion which incorporates English as an Additional Language (EAL - English for Academic Purposes, Immersion English and skills mastery) and Special Educational Needs. Thus I can appreciate some of the challenges that non-native English speakers face when learning English; as such I employ a range of methodologies to support language acquisition and mastery such as pronunciation drills, games, direct questioning, writing and speaking scaffolds, role play, listening exercises, error correction and gap fills. As an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and Head of Inclusion, I know 'what it takes' to support those with additional needs to access a curriculum and make steady progress. Teaching is my passion, so I enjoy delivering fun but informative lessons to my students, sharing my mastery of the English language and sparking conversation. I have successfully prepared students for GCEs and A-Levels in Humanities subjects - Sociology, Religious Education, Geography, History, English as well as Individuals and Societies at IBDP. I have supported students with preparation for IELTS and other college/university entrance exams and am currently writing curriculum content for a well-known English language provider. I have successfully prepared candidates for successful PGCE, University, College and international schools interviews, in addition to job interviews. I gain a lot of satisfaction witnessing firsthand the personal and academic growth of those whom with I engage. I also think it's important that my students leave the lesson feeling that they have learned something. My lessons focus on the four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking - with the emphasis on speaking as its important that my students feel comfortable communicating. I correct pronunciation in a timely fashion, extend learning by supporting vocabulary development and use comprehension tasks to check my tutees understanding.
